That Rolex is having fun with those of us on forums that talk about about and obsess over what ever little nuggets of information we can find out in advance about what is coming out next week...

Teaser on instagram definitely appears to be a submariner, from those straight markers on the bezel.

Teaser on the Rolex homepage, though, appears to be either a chronograph OR potentially some new model with use for two pushers?

That GMT image seems to have gone "unable to find image"

Always thought Rolex should do some version of the pvd but maybe their own stamp on it

So it is a misleading falsified clue leak that means nothing.
Hiding some clues would be non-deceiving but using photoshop to remove the pearl is plainly lying and misleading and classless. The real watch had better not have lume pearl whatever it turns out to be.

I'm firmly in the camp of these being different watches. Seems unlikely the black ad is the back -- too cute for them to flip the watch upside down so the crown is on the right. Also appears to show screw down crowns, which would indicate a Daytona (but then the lack of crown guards is inconsistent) or more probably a new watch (although adding screw down to a new YM may be a possibility).

As others have said, white ad looks like a SD with cyclops to me . . . Regrettably.

I don't think they'll release a SD in 42mm with cyclope, maybe a red SD or some touch of color, if they put a cyclope on the SD it'll be sad for me, as i'm a HEV enthusiast

I think those are different watches as well. The second teaser seems like a Cellini chrono to me.

I suspect this is the new watch Rolex have been working on, the xxxx-Dweller.
>42mm ceramic bezel, in red/black. It's a beast.

I am sure if Rolex puts a cyclops on the SD the depth rating and HE rating will still be valid... Congratulations you are the 1 out of 10,000,000 Sea Dweller owners that actually use the the watch for what it was designed for. Your watch actually had some helium escape from it.

exactly! that what I was thinking 2 different models. I think the first picture is a Sea-Dweller with a lens. The glass is protruding upward too much which can only be found in the Sea_Dweller.

The white instagram version makes it look like some kind of sub derivation while the black background teaser looks like some kind of chromo with a dat....the cyclops is huge so maybe its like Rolex Passion Report said and its a 43mm SD with cyclops.

Under circumstances, I do not believe Rolex would risk new Daytona sales with a new chrono, so I think it is a new WG Daytona with Ceramic bezel. Teaser could be deceiving with the plastic protection on it?

For the first teaser, I truly hope it is not a SD! Cyclops will hurt the whole history! I think this is not the case. Upgraded in 2014, SD 4000 will survive and 50th year anniversary will be left blank!

It could be a steel/ceramic bezel oysterflex yachmaster! And it would be so cool!

I have been away from reading this forum...could some one kindly explain why we would see another seadweller this year? We already have the DSSD and DS4k...
I appreciate its the 50th year anniversary...but wouldn't another SD in the line up, confuse things?

most have Nitrogen: 20-90% Hydrogen: 0-50% Carbon dioxide: 10-30% Oxygen: 0-10% Methane: 0-10% escape when there eyes go under water let alone there SD

Everyone is legit in living his passion on his own way.
I don't like cyclops on subs and for me Sds are something special. Hope this doesn't hurt anybody

My wild guess is the SD will be increased in size a few millimeters, so we'll essentially have two Subs in different sizes.
