The same bodyguard then pushed Martin's cameraman away! To Brundle's credit, when a blond guy in this rappers entourage told him he couldn't do that, Brundle responded that he could because he just did!

I don't think a bodyguard that is literally 3 times bigger than a 62 year old man should be pushing him or his film crew whilst on a heavily secure grid with VIPs only. This isn't some nightclub afterall. Brundle was reasonably upset and responded to the interaction on Monday.

I mean, it doesn’t matter that you don’t know her but apparently she’s a big deal. It’s unfortunate though because I can confidently bet a years salary that she doesn’t care about F1 nor could she name three drivers not counting Lewis. To be fair Brundle is a clown and Megan waved the ignorant clueless body guard away. That type of security behavior would get you fired where I’m from. There’s a difference between walking in an airport through random people and walking on the F1 circuit. Never embarras the client.
As for fan antics post race, this is mild compared to years prior before covid in Europe, the only difference is those celebrities who attend actually like F1.

The interesting thing is, here was her moment to shine as an entertainer, entrepreneur... to a live worldwide audience. What did she do with this opportunity?

How would a true professional have performed?

I read somewhere that she was invited by RBR to hawk some app that she endorses now.

They say in show business that any publicity is good publicity - good or bad. Here we are talking about her but I still don't know any song she signs and won't bother looking it up either.

Same here. Wife did, she wasn't impressed.

Maybe we need a music freak show at every starting grid? Ok, we had rude rapper. Tiesto did the earlier race. Now we need Marilyn Manson or Rick Springfield. Is Gwar still doing PR events?

The Marko interview when Martin was like Gasly is in P5, if he gets a good run can he attack?

Marko was like "we'll see". Then Marko walks over to Gasly and starts chatting with him and Martin said he's probably telling Gasly what not to say to me.

The Official Formula One Thread!

Today should be fun. Curious if they hit Ver with a penalty.

My crystal ball says both HAM and VER are in for a surprise at 9:30 & 10:30 local time this AM.

For entirely separate reasons of course. As we speak VER is in the hot seat.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Hamilton's car found to be out of spec in post race inspection? The last I read the stewards were debating into the night about something (penalty perhaps) and said they would decide in the morning. Unless there's something Mercedes can come up with overnight, HAM should be DQ'ed and start from the back during the sprint race.

VER walking over to Hamilton's car whilst in parc ferme looking at the wing and then touching it should be penalized as well IMO.

This is all Greek to me. I suspect I'm in an extreme minority-conversant in NASCAR-given the overall demographic of TRF...

I say both should be penalized and DQ’d from yesterday’s Q. Make them both start from pit lane for the sprint and fight their way through the field.

You are right. 3.346 inches - or - 85 mm. The DRS was out of spec per Jo Bauer.

But VER is in hot water for “touching the wing”. That’s also being investigated.

Penalties

HAM: Disqualification from the qualifying session. (the Stewards ordered the usual penalty for technical non-compliance)

VER: €50,000 for touching HAM’s rear wing in parc fermé.

Maybe HAM relegated to the back of the grid for the sprint race. Not sure about that until classification is issued.

Ham on the grid. Stewards allowed car 44 to start sprint qualifying per Article 35.1 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, because he set satisfactory times in practice. The car will be placed on the grid in P20 per Regulations.

A good game - I could get a few.
Came up with one whose moniker also relates to his on-track habitual maneuvers…

Is it me, or did Lewis shoot the Ferrari driver 'the bird' as he passed him down the straight? I think on lap 5.

Max is a DIRTY player. Run you off the road, and illegally doing more than one move in a straight.

C'mon director, penalties MUST be given to Max!!!
