1985 GMT 16750 just back from RSC (10 days ago). This 24 yr old beauty looks like brand new ( my photos are terrible - sorry ) and is keeping dead on accurate. I have to share....the last photo has my Sub No date as well...a family photo if you will.

Very nice 16750 GMT and looks like RSC Dallas did a great job. I had a 16750 from 1984, which I sold (now regrettably).

Great old timer and a fantastic job by Dallas but how such accuracy is possible without the parachrome hairspring.

Yes the bracelet is no doubt a bit 'stretched', and they did ask if I wanted it replaced, but I'm not quite ready to buy a new bracelet that would cost more than I paid for the whole watch new in 1985. They did a nice job polishing and cleaning the original. Maybe I'll spring for a new one when I hand over the watch to my son someday. As it is now, still very functional.

My 2005 GMT-II is always -1 second per 24 hr., my new Sub Date, after it's re-regulation at Dallas is - 1/2 a sec. per 24 hr. Pretty awesome I think! Neither have the parachrome spring.

Exactly the parchrome will not make any difference whatsoever to the day to day running or accuracy in any Rolex watch.
