Beach Rocks
I'm into b&w right now. This is a re-do of one I shot last winter on the north Cornwall coast (Can't remember where, but somewhere between Bude and St. Isac). There's probably a proper name for this formation, but I don't know what it is.
It was terribly overcast and flat light that day. Had snowed in the morning. Stupid me didn't use any filters. Cheers, Bruce |

Another fantastic B&W photo, Bruce. Filter-schmilter!!! It looks stunning.
You know, I have just about visited every area of the UK in my travels (predominantly the north), but I have NEVER visited Cornwall and Devon. My wife and I keep saying we will visit, but London, the Lake District and Scotland always win out. We will definitely put the south coast on our list for 2008, when we visit again!!! Thanks for the great photos, and keep 'em coming!!!

Thanks Allan! The southwest is really beautiful. Be prepared for a bit less convenience than the north. It's definately "country" down here
The Lake District, Scotland (especially the Highlands), and Wales are high on my list of must visits. Cheers, Bruce |

And as for the Lake District, Northumberland, Wales and Scotland, you will LOVE it there. Take your camera - you will shoot LOTS of photos, believe me! Here are some examples, taken in 2002... Lake Windermere in the Lake District: A friend we stayed with in this little village in Wales (Peter, you should recognize this!): A stream in Northumberland: This one's for JJ - from Scotland:

Nice shot Bruce and it seems to have worked out OK, even without filters but I suppose you can compensate in Photoshop.
