Spent the day with a consultant and stared...

at his Glashutte Sport Evolution Impact Tourbillon the entire time. Never did get a chance to chat him up about it. Gorgeous watch....his was on a croc strap instead of the red/black one.

At ~$90k, I guess we're paying him pretty well.

Very nice watch! Maybe next time you'll get to talk to him about it and find that he's a WIS too.

I'm pretty self-conscious about keeping my watch under my shirt when I'm with customers, I don't want them thinking "Wow, I think we are paying him too much." (It's a stainless steel model, nothing with gold or diamonds or anything, but you know what goes through some minds when they see "Rolex").

But if I see a nice watch on a customer's wrist, then I don't announce or flash mine, but if the watch slides out of the shirt, I don't mind.

90K and a consultant, gotta love it as you know he is likely working for a couple other people as well. GREAT looking watch, too bad you didn't get to fondle it :)

He caught me ogling it at least once, but didn't say anything. This is one of those watches that only a WIS would recognize and appreciate because from a distance it just looks like a sport watch. Funny how quickly I noticed the tourbillon....this forum has apparently honed my watch senses.

Sorry, but if I had nice 90 grand I wouldn't spend it on this GO.

IMO it just does not look like its worth 1/2 that amount and that strap is hideous on a watch that has one of the most difficult complications.

Perhaps the picture does not do it justice.
