Anyone know about Timex's new line?

Hello All,

Out at the local mall for some christmas shopping...and was drawn to the watch store (what else is new) but was drawn to a brand I never saw before.

Apparantly Timex has a new line out - it uses a German style movement - but the designs are really nice.
They even had 1 in a (painted) Rose Gold on deplaoyant croc/saphire glass...prices were less than $400 CAD for prep calendars.

Just curious if anyone knows much about these..as far as movements/quality. The sales rep said they just came in, and with Build a Bear accross the way my Kids were not being very patient.

(and yes...i do own a Timex )

I have seen them briefly at The Bay, but the sales clerks knew nothing about them. I remember seeing something online about a year ago, but cannot remember the details or the link. Timex.ca offers nothing either.

BTW, The Bay is also carrying the Seiko 5 line now.

I have a seiko 5, but has always been wondering, what market is it for as I can't find any info on seiko 5 on their US or Japanese official sites.

btw, for the timex are you talking about these?

Then again, these doesn't come with sapphire nor deployment as you mentioned, similar price range though. Chinese movement.

Nope, its not those. They look really complicated, Retrogarde, Perpetual Calanders, Compasses etc. They also had a new company symbol - I'll try to get more info.
