Nfl playoffs!

Well my Steelers decided to let some other teams have a chance at winning for a change. So who are you pulling for and who do you think will do well in the AFC and NFC?

In the NFC, I am pulling for the Packers but I think the Cowboys (I know it is hard to beat the same team 3 times in one season-Philly) have a real shot to do well. The Vikings and Saints really fell off at the end of the season.

In the AFC, I am pully for the Colts (I like Manning) but I think the Ravens have a real shot to do well. Bengals=paper tigers, Jets=yawn, Pats=zero D, Chargers=have never won the big one, D is erratic.

Should be interesting.

My Eagles, My Eagles, McNabb is the achilles heel of that team and it seems he just doesn't have the stamina to last. I like to see them go all the way but I think thats "visions of grandeur". BTW, I feel safe saying this being I'm 200 miles away from those crazy ass Eagles fans!

My Pats have no chance this year especially with Welker hurt. I think it may be the Chargers year.

I'd say the Vikings or Indianpolis. Being from CA, I'd love to see the Chargers go all the way, but I don't think they will get past Indianpolis.

J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets!

It's a long shot and I have been teased and tormented for 30+ years, but maybe this is the year!

I'm not a Tom Brady fan and, hence, not a Patriots fan, but I do feel horrible about poor Wes Welker's injury yesterday. I rooted every second for the Colts against the Patriots earlier this year, in what was a great football game. I don't think the Patriots can pull it off without Wes.

Of this year's crop of teams that might go the distance, I like the Chargers (I grew up in San Diego) and the Colts (go Peyton!).

Born and bred San Diegan, season ticket holder for years... The announcers can hate all they want.

I hope that no one thinks we can win it all, cause that will make it that much sweeter when Peyton and Brady take ultimate walk of shame....

Nuthin' personal , but i would feel safer sending $$ to a Nigerian banker spam offer than I would betting on the Eagles to win a Super Bowl.

I really would be happy to see the Saints win the big prize, but my sentimental wish would be for Favre et al, just to make a point for us older guys. Neither team has won the Lombardi. You could say that about the Iggles too, but I'm convinced they're hopeless.

Every team in the playoffs is flawed. Indy and NO are going in stone cold, no momentum. SD can get Norv'd at any moment. Minny has shown some warts recently. NY Jets can beat everyone in the AFC except Baltimore, but they would only meet in the AFC Championship. Cinci is a shadow of the team they were at mid-season. Pats are missing the guy that replaces their non-existent running game. Philly peaked already. Arizona too.

I'm going with a Dallas/Baltimore Super Bowl V rematch.

Could also be a Cowboys/Colts Super Bowl V rematch.

I would root for the Vikes against anyone but the Ravens.

With the Niners out, I would love to see the Saints come out of the NFC and the Chargers come out of the AFC. I think it'd make for an interesting Super Bowl and it would be nice to see some new blood win it all.

Secondary choices would be the Vikings and Jets. I wouldn't be bummed if the Eagles got in there either.

I would pull for Dallas to get their 6th Lombardi just to tick off the Pittsburghers.

Green Bay still has more championships than Dallas and Pittsburgh combined.

God my Bengals have fallen apart. I will be there this Saturday rooting for a win, but the Jets manhandled them this past Sunday. Still not quite sure what the hell happened there.

I say Vikings/Chargers.

Since my Panthers had a 8-8 season and aren't in the post season...

I'm pulling for Farve and the Vik's! I'd like to see him get another one.

Other than that..anybody BUT Dallas!!

Tough to say . . .

Like many, I was leaning towards the Colts--however, with Caldwell benching the starters, losing a shot at perfection, and destroying all momentum for the team, I don't know

I'm not a Colts fan at all, just frustrated FOR their fans. If that had been my team, I would have been furious. And now, with their last two games, I seriously wonder if they are the team to beat anymore.

Caldwell better hope he wins, and I mean wins it all. He doesn't and

Well, I am not a fan of football, but my hair stylist is a Saintsation. So, because I live right here one hour Southwest of the "Big Easy" I am required to at least root for them.

I think that they will probably either win fantastically or loose fantastically because they can't just do anything half way. Usually they are busy loosing fantastically.

So for my friend Erin and all those Saintsation signed calenders she provided for my husband and his friends.....I have to say the Saints!!!

And as the chant has been going here "Who Dat? Drew Dat!!!!"

(Meaning that Drew Brees is "all that" and Who is going to try to beat us?)

I'm curious if the Bungles laid down intentionally to not show the jets anything. I mean, they were BAD in that game. I think the bungles are one-and-done.

Jets can play D and run the ball. They have a real shutdown corner. Rex Ryan has a Super Bowl ring (I think he was the D-line coach) from a team just like that. But the Jets can't run on Baltimore.

I'm rooting for either the Saints (but they better get their act together now) or the Cowboys.

I used to like/respect the Colts but their decision to not win a couple of games did not sit well with me. I hope they lose in the play-offs just so everyone can mock their decision and say "I told you so!" They gave up all their momentum and have now done nothing special that deserves any respect.

They looked pretty good Sunday night. They have a hellacious defense and that's always a good thing in the playoffs.

I'm telling you... too many years as a Jets fan to get excited. Maybe my new reverse psychology will work - no expections, then the team will win.
Let's all stay posted and see how this works out for me.

The Broncos made one of the most historical collapes in NFL history. Going from 6-0 to 8-8. Hope the Bellicheck clone gets the ax.

That was interesting to watch. Everyone spent the first 3 games saying they were pretenders, then when everyone started to say they were for real, they go into Baltimore and get clobbered. That was it. They were done.

They also only won the first game of the season agains the Bengals on a totally fluke once in a decade play in the last few seconds of the game. Although the Bengals were better then.

I think the Cincy/Jets game will be a good one as we sat out quite a few good players vs. the Jets. We need to focus on running the ball more. Our deep threat is gone.
