get a seiko instead, these might look okay but they are probably garbage.

I think in US its movado group that does the service, but I won't trust these watches, might be good for younger folks who get a new watch every few months.

I agree, get a Seiko or at least a Citizen. I bought my wife a Tommy watch. She is not into watches but I thought it looked nice. She has not a problem with it and it is fairly well built but you are really paying for the name.

If you like the that type of style and are willing to spend a little more, look at Tissot. The Tissot PRS 516 is a nice watch with an auto movement and should not cost you more than US$300.
