I would be too scared to scratch it. Actually, that could be a painful keychain.

I have two Rolex keyrings that we used - until I realized they are colletable and made my wife stop using hers and I stopped using mine. I recently tried to polish them up but two years in my pocket took it's toll on them. I won't make that mistake with my anchor! lol

This is what I read, and I was able to understand it. So you are into genetic's?

"Marfan syndrome (or Marfan's syndrome) is a genetic disorder of the connective tissue. It is sometimes inherited as a dominant trait. It is carried by a gene called FBN1, which encodes a connective protein called fibrillin-1. People have a pair of FBN1 genes. Because it is dominant, people who have inherited one affected FBN1 gene from either parent will have Marfan's. This syndrome can run from mild to severe. People with Marfan's are typically tall, with long limbs and long thin fingers. The most serious complications are the defects of the heart valves and aorta."

Pfft! All those little tiny anchors you guys got. Here's mine. Not that size matters, mind you!

I do think I need to use a Cape Cod cloth on it, though...

Allan, you stole that from an aircraft carrier!

Speaking of lost anchors, I know of a Navy sub that is missing an anchor when it was tangled up in a fishing net. Pissed off the fishing boat and the sub commander. Had to take a torch to the chain.

I got it on eBay, David. It was surplus!

They said it was stainless steel, though.

I love this idea, I have been trying to figure out a cool bookmark the past few weeks. I just bought an anchor off ebay to copy this.

~ The most serious "emergent" scenario is if the Ascending Aorta is dilated beyond 5.5cm, then "its on"...
