Genuine Vintage Box?
Does this appear to be genuine? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

More information...
This picture is from a listing on Timezone for a complete vintage boxset. I chose this one picture to post as I don't recall ever seeing an embossed Rolex crown on the felt inner cover.
"I think the box came with his watch" "Buy now. Ask later"? Do you know me? Don't think so. Granted I'm a newbie on The Rolex Forums, but have been buying and selling on TZ and WUS for many years. |

Felt cover
Hi Steve -
The Rolex boxes from that particular time period (probably mid to late 90s) did have a pillow and felt felt cover like the one pictured above. The cover did have one end of the triangle embossed with the Rolex crown. Don |

The box looks genuine. The pillow and wrap were suede on the genuine boxes, like that in your picture. This box is heavily faked and the material is usually a suede cloth on the counterfeits, which does not look like the genuine material.
This box was used by Rolex during the early to mid-1990's until around 2002. If you're keeping score on vintage boxes, this box here replaced the box discussed in this thread. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=119518
