Watches with Mercedes Hands
Hi y'all. I was wondering if the mercedes hands are a swiss characteristic or not... I've seen them on a couple of non-rolex brands but can't remember if these too were swiss made watches or not.
Just thought it'd be interesting to know...

I thought at one time Omega had them. Swiss Army I think is another one-not completely sure though.

I dont think that Mercedes hands are a patent, so just about anyone can use them.
I have seen them on many different kinds of watches, expensive and cheap. |

Mercedes hands wonder if its anything to do with the fact that In 1927 Mercedes Gleitze, swam the English Channel with the unheard of accompaniment of a wristwatch. The first true Rolex Oyster for the complete full swim.Quite a few of the early bubble backs fron the early 40s had Mercedes hands. And many many brands today use the so called Mercedes hands. Swiss, Japanese,Chinese and European its just a style of hands, like they call another style of hands Breguet.
