I just joined this forum last week after being a lurker for a while. This is an awesome forum. In fact, the other day at work I must have been on the site for hours on my phone! I'm a member of a few other forums for golf and cars, but TRF is so much better. A few things I've noticed so far is the lack of bashing and flaming that occurs so often on other forums and the amount of useful information.

A little bit about me. I'm a bit of a collector (my family and friends call it hoarding) of watches, golf clubs and pens. I don't have anything spectacular in terms of watches (yet) and want to get started, but I do have some neat pens and golf clubs. As far as my moniker goes it is a reference to the remnant of a surgery that almost took me out of the "game" a few years ago. Obviously, though, I'm back and doing better.

I look forward to getting to know you guys/gals and begin my journey into the world of watches.

Welcome, you don't have to have a watch to participate here.
But when you read and look at the photos it is pretty hard to resist

Also we do have a dedicated pen forum and the people there are very much more friendlier and helpful as you will find anywhere.
