I can't make out the long E and I am not sure I understand the reference to the V on the crown. 1963 may be late for a PCG but their profile is somewhat different. Here is a very poor photo of a PCG 5512 (554xxx) with similar rear profile.

It obviously has an very late dial and later bracelet but I can't condemn it as a fake from the photos supplied in 'theBay' listing.

[not fake - though also redialed]

I have seen PCG fakes recently but do not think based on those pics this is 1 of them. You have better eyes than me as I cannot make out any EEE'S on those pics but think the watch is ok. Replacement dial, bracelet etc

Err buddy David...apart from the watch having a later replacement Dial...
replacement Rotor blade on Cal.1530(instead of "Butterfly" blade)...
n a modern set of heavy Oyster bracelet...
Orchi finds the case(5513 Pointy Crown Guards) to be OK...

There is NO sign of Long Middle stroke of "E"...

Do remember the [] prerequisite does NOT apply to 5512/5513 with PCG...
only to those 5512/5513/1680 Sub cases with ROUNDED crown guards...

Just don't go and hide in a large safe and forget the combination
You're doing OK David , we all screw up , even the real experts .... except Orchi .. can we ever fault him ? Who is Orchi ? I suspect him to be the retired ( early ) official dial maker for Rolex
Thanks Orchi for all the valuable input you provide

Yes we are. Since I am in the infant stages of being able to discern a genuine from a fake, I just keep quiet, and observe.
