Patek 5146 Platinum
Here is one that is simply beautiful--elegant and refined. The 5146 in Platinum--Annual Calendar. From what I hear this could be discountinued relatively soon. They have not had a long run in comparison to other models. Platinum is truly rare versus gold when it comes to production numbers out of Switzerland--making this hot watch a rare find. It has a sunburst ebony dial with sticks versus slate grey with roman numerals on the WG version--not to mention the different band color. The 5146P also has a diamond set at 6 o'clock on the case. All in all---have to say it is one fine and well crafted piece of Swiss art!!!

I know if I had it it would be out of the plastic long before a picture could be taken.
Beautiful piece. What's the case diameter? Ken |

Great looking watch on the wrist. Metallic dials look great with that glistening sheen finish.

the most beautiful watch I have seen on TRF. Beats a 'gaudy' (only my IMO) Platinum DD Masterpiece, as mindblowing as it is.
This looks $unattainable, whereas the Plat DD Masterpieces/DD's etc to me look like $$$. You just dont see these watches, irrespective of how much money you have. I have no realised that I LOVE those metallic dials - to a lesser extent (and exclusivity!) on my Rhodium DJ. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope it brings you and your loved ones a great deal of good fortune and health throughout the rest of your life. James |

Thanks James!!!! The dial is actually a bit different from the gray slate on the wg one--it is called ebony surnburst-a bit darker with a bit more luster to it.
