You know, I really want to post some samples of my FP writing with the colors I "will have" but I'm afraid my handwriting isn't up to par with everyone elses... From what I've seen on here, there are different styles of writing with an FP and with the Med nibs I have, I feel "limited" to printing instead of cursive. Can I see some handwriting samples from you all with differnt nibs and ink colors? Thanks!
One other question, is it ok to post a pic of you "signature" or is that a no-no like posting a pic of your Rolex serial #? My immediate answer is "No" due to identity theft issues but... your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks again!

I wouldn't worry about your handwriting. We are just interested in how the inks look, and I'm sure it's better than you think. Post your sig if you feel comfortable. I just posted a thread reviewing a pen, and you can see some of my writing and ink there.

All the following were written using medium nibs (I think) except the Nakaya that was a double broad, ink was Noodlers air corp Blue/black.
![]() left is Caran d ache Storm, right Noodlers Air Corp Blue/Black ![]() ![]() I personally wouldnt bother what other people think about my hand writing, if they can read it, that's a good start, the pleasure I receive is in the writing. ![]()

Very nice Dave! I love the colors as well... I think I will be very happy with the Air Corp Blue Black... And I am also looking into getting a bottle of J. Herbin Poussiere de Lune ink. Its a dark purple color that I was turned on to by 2careless... Thanks!

No Leo, didn't do too well at school, left when I was 15 and joined the army as a junior soldier, the school leaving age was upped to 16 the next year, or the year after.
Thank you for your kind remarks. ![]()

Nick, good job! We're not here to critique your writing (which by the way, is fine!). We're here to share a common interest in pens and all things related. Thanks for sharing. Faith

Nick, does the Bordeaux inked writings change colour over time on your pad? Mine does. It turns darker after a couple of days. Very intriguing.
BTW your handwriting is fine. You just need a flexible nib to add line variations ![]() |

And the Bordeaux is beautiful. I'm getting close to getting a red shade of ink, with Herbin 1670 at the top of the list (that one has me drooling, but it's hard to get), but the MB Bordeaux is on the list too.

Faith, I was very impressed with your writing when I saw a sample in the 'Ileana' Rolex baby book. It was not only very legible but had great style. ![]()
