Agree its a great movement as all Rolex movements though the past 50 years but beautiful afraid not just all plain Jane IMHO.

However Rolex movements are known to be sturdy,durable, and reliable. They don't display them by default. So they are not known to be a thing of beauty. For that you need to look at those watch makers that actually finish their movements and display them as works of art like Patek.

I agree. For beautiful movements, I recommend to look at A. Lange & Sohne, high-end Patek Philippe, and Chopard L.U.C.
