Is the second one as nice?

I've only had my watch for just over a week. It's a month-old Explorer II with the white face. Every time I check the time, I have to pause for a second and admire the watch.

I'm already planning for a second Rolex - SubDate (old vs ceramic) vs Deep Sea vs ??, and I wonder if getting the second can possibly be as nice as the first.

So, those of you with at least two, tell me what you think.

Given the ones that you're looking at, the answer is yes...the second one will be very nice! and you'll falll in love all over again...

BUT,

I think that the one you love first will always be the one you'll love most...

Every watch should speak to you in a special way, but the first watch is the first one...

It depends on which watch you get next. I love each watch differently because I lusted after each one.

The greatest mistake a WIS can do IMHO, is to buy a watch just for the sake of adding to the collection. You'll end up being unhappy and then flip it down the road.

Good luck! You really can't go wrong with a Sub!

I can only speak for myself, but yes- the experience is just as wonderful and - depending on the watch you choose - may even surpass the original.

In fact, I recently bought my 4th, and possibly love it more than any of the others

The first is always special for me... but the day I don't get giddy over gettting a new Rolex, is the day that I need to slap myself!

Honestly, for me... the first represented a change in life, a big purchase, a maturity etc. so it will always hold a certain level above the others but the second was a his/hers with my wife so that is a special reason, the third is an icon for a milestone birthday...so, each one has it's own special meaning to me.

But, it's been almost 9 years and I still remember my hands shaking when I paid for the Sub - man, that was fun!
