LV-C Sans Cyclops
Found this a little amusing, its only been out a few months and somebody has already decided to butcher it off and then not want it.
Saw this in the shop window of a grey dealer in Central London. I wonder how much they're going to try and charge for it without the Cyclops ps.I didn't go inside to inquire Cheers. |

Removing the cyclop it is visible the AR coting that is under it ...
Frankly speaking I like the cyclops very much (a sort of Rolex "imprinting") and I find them very very useful to read the date ... I'm getting old ... Engi |

I think it looks really cool...but I am probably biased because I wear a Sea Dweller 16600 as my daily!

I like the look. Would not do that to mine, but it might be something Rolex should consider, a SD Hulk!!

To each his own. They will probably be able to sell it for the same as a regular used LV. There has to be someone else who wants it this way.

I belive that if you remove the cyclops on your own is a diffrent story, but to buy a Sub C without them, not me,thanks.Rolex without cyclops look fake, unless is SD.

I personally like the way it looks without the cyclops. The cyclops can be a pain sometimes because you have to get just the right angle to see the date, even with the ar coating.

I'm not a big fan of the cyclops, it looks much cleaner without it.

Not for me....I like the cyclops which is an iconic feature of Rolex. All my Rolex watches have them and I rather like the magnification...I have to squint to see the date on my other watches.
Agreed that in the first picture you can see the outline of where the cyclops use to be and not desirable....if you don't want the cyclops, then I would want a clean even surface. Should at least discount it by the price of installing a new sapphire crystal, IMHO. Cheers |
