I apologize to all Orange bezel PO owners...
I've never really seen the appeal of the orange bezel, I have seen it in the stores a dozen times, but never thought that the orange could really work..
Well, my theory of having to see a watch in the wild before judging it continues to hold true... Was at the mall yesterday with my wife, and spotted an absolutely stunning PO with orange bezel... I have to admit - it looked amazing - the orange seemed so much more subtle when there was a real world behind it to give it some context... So I offer my humble apology to anyone who has gone Orange....cleary you guys have made a great decision! would love to see some more in the wild pics... |

I've got an orange bezel on 'layaway' while I pay the rest off & even now I'm still wondering if I shoulda 'gone black' so I've simply ordered a black bezel as well.
I remember the first time I saw on orange 'in the wild' it was being worn by the doctor looking at my sons ripped-out-toenail (long story) & even under those circumstances with my son crying & his blood & bitsa toenail & gore all over the doctors gloves & his surgery floor I thought.......... "that is one cool watch!" (Probably best not to admit that to the Mrs. though....... ) Great shot as ever btw Eric mate....

The orange bezel PO is one of my favourite pieces. I plan to add one to my collection soon.

A mesh bracelet will soon fix that problem Ian.

The Orange model has a distinctive appeal. I just wish that Omega had made the PO with a simple interchange procedure to the black bezel.
I bought this one and then got the WIS disease yearning for the black bezel, so I sold this to get the model I now have. The ideal PO would be one made with an easy change Orange/Black and an easy swap over from steel to rubber. My current model on Seamaster rubber: |

I had the same experience. Was not a big fan of the orange, but I saw it ONCE in the flesh and thought it looked great. In terms of all round suitability though, I would still go with the all black bezel but the orange certainly has its place.
