How much would you be willing to pay?

Ive been offered a Breitling Colt Quartz II Mens Watch, absolutley brand new, unworn with all the box papers, only a few days old.

How much do you think a fair price would be for it?

Hi Max

I have 2 Breitlings including the colt automatic 2. I would stay away from the quartz version and pick up the automatic version as there is only a small difference in price.

I was also looking at the Omegas but I don’t like any of them, they are all a bit boring to me (I am 25).

I had £2000 as a budget for a new watch and I picked up a brand new chrono cockpit from Selfridges which was 30 percent off in the sale. I personally don’t think you can get a better brand new watch from an AD for this price point.

In my opinion Breitling's are better than Omegas.

Here are some pics of my Breitlings.

I own an Omega Seamaster Pro Chrono and a Breitling Superocean Steelfish and i am an Omega man hands down...BUT that Breitling on my wrist is something special. I love it and I am keeping it in my collection for a long long time.

I think they both make very nice watches. I do not own an omega yet (soon I am sure) but I do own two breitlings and I enjoy both of them very much. That being said I would not buy a quartz version, wait till you find a good deal on an automatic.
