Watch Wind Monthly??

This may be a dumb question, But I cannot seem to find it myself. I have a DateJust 1601. I only wear my watch about 2X-3X a month right now. Is it best for me to just wind the watch up when I want to wear it or purchase a watch winder? Is it more wear & tear to wind it up when you wear it or to leave it running on a winder? I would think just wind it up? Any comments would help.

Basically if you find resetting your watch all the time before you wear it a pain then by a winder, if not then carry on regardless.

Wind it up when you wear it and save the wear and tear IMHO.

Spot on,my thoughts too. A winder for Rolex is a complete waste of money IMO.
