One bird two gifts?

I have a Rolex coming in tomorrow for my wife and she's also taking delivery of a new vehicle. The Rolex is a surprise. Should I wait before giving to her or should I double whammy her?

What would you do?

Put it round the gear stick! She's a lucky girl!

Boy aint she lucky. If you got it for it was for a reason. Would you want to wait, I doubt it. Go ahead and give it to her.

You're a good man! I agree with the previous post, place it on the gear stick or on the dashboard.

This is it. She's been wanting this for years. Finally, I ordered her the first white one in Spain.

Alas, there's no stick shift on it.

If there's no gearshift, consider putting the box on the rear deck back by the window. Wrap a nice red ribbon around it...and enjoy the look you'll see on your wife's face the first time she glances into the rearview mirror. :-)

Lucky wife!

Maybe you can put the Rolex hang tag on her new keys or get a Rolex keychain (don't know how readily available those are) for the keys. If it's like a Vespa, there's a small compartment glove-box and you could always wrap the watch up and put it inside there... Whatever you do, she'll be doubly surprised for sure !

Ahh, I just now caught what it is that she'll be getting. You're right...perhaps the seat isn't the best place for it. Surely there's a storage bin of some type. You could wrap the watch in a soft cloth and put it in the storage area...then ask her to go into it for some reason. Maybe hand her something to put inside...

Just thinking about how you can tie the two together and still have it be a surprise for her.

I would split them up... one will overlap the other. I would give her the vehicle/cycle and wait a couple of days for the Rolex... this way they are seperate gifts and appreciated individually... As you know a HAPPY WIFE = A HAPPY LIFE This could make you "happy" twice too.........HINT.....HINT.......

I totally agree with this post.

I noticed you mentioned that she had been waiting for ages for that particular model vehicle, so maybe let her have the enjoyment of that first. Wait a couple of days and then BANG!!... Something else!!

I agree. Holding off is a little difficult! But, I totally agree.

She's on cloud nine with her new toy (the vehicle).

If you give her the watch, might be taking hsr eyes off the road to look at it.
Might ought to wait....

I totally agree with this, let her enjoy the scooter first, and then maybe at dinner, the watch... You still get the double whammy, but take nothing away from either gift...

I like the way you guys are thinking, and you're absolutely right. Spread the love over a few days and allow her to enjoy each to their fullest individually.

Good call!

The only problem is holding back with the second one yourself... I have such a hard time once I buy something for my wife and not giving it to her right away
