I Blame Dan Pierce

At least that's what I told the wife. I actually blame everybody on TRF that has a Pepsi, but when talking to the wife I just knew I stood a much better chance if I blamed just one individual.

I picked Dan Pierce, well because it was him and Mark Theken that posted pictuires with the GMTII on a Super Jubilee Bracet. It is Dan Pierce that keeps harping on how the GMTII provides you with 6 options in one. Dan Pierce has influenced a number of people to either get one watch or another. It's either a Tudor, a Seiko, or a Marathon.

Face it people, Dan Pierce is a Bad Bad Man.

So I got a GMTII and a Super Jubilee bracelet. I have the Pepsi and an Oyster bracelet. I'll work on getting the Coke and Black inserts at a later time. Just chalk me up as another casualty that we can attribute to Dan Pierce and his bad bad influence. Oh yeah, hats off to Mark Theken and the other enablers here on TRF.

By the way, the wife hasn't divorced me, I'm not sleeping on the couch, and better yet she didn't tell me I couldn't buy no more watches. It worked, but Dan Pierce might want to stay far away from my wife for a little while. Who knows and who really cares how she feels about Dan Pierce.

I didn't know you had a coach to sleep on Dan

EDIT: you're quick!!!

Nice pick up - There is no doubt that we are partly drawn to TRF for it's 'enabling' talent

Thank you, I figured it might be best to warn you.

By the way, when I was in the military my troops called her Sergeant Major. You might want to stay far far away.

I'm doing my best but I need a translation...anyone?

The Pepsi I can explain to SWMBO but the super jubilee is big $$$'s in Oz if I can find one.

I made up my mind awhile ago. If I were going to get a GMTII I wanted a Jubilee Bracelet. When I saw Dan's post about using a Super Jubilee Bracelet with a GMTII I decided this was the route for me. I got a decent deal on a GMTII and I went ahead and purchased a Super Jubilee Bracelet at the same time. It just factored into the overall cost of the watch.

I figure it's always worth a shot. If it don't work try something else, if it did work well there you go.
