Will there be a 45mm Daytona?????

I have a 8.5" wrist and had Rolex watches from time to time but couldn't really wear them until Deepsea appeared. What are the chances they will finally come up with a 45mm Daytona?

Rumour has it they are coming out with an 85 mm on a gold chain to wear around the neck. Big enough? (similar chance of reality as a 45 mm). Wrong brand if you want them that big. Try TS Steel.

You know, was having dinner at a friend's place last night and her dad was wearing a very simple 36mm ss datejust (probably from the 90's ... I didn't ask as there were 20 or so other persons around). It just looked so right. I know it has nothing to do with a Daytona and he didn't have 8.5" wrists but anyway, speaking of wrist to watch proportions...

I hope they make one... that way it's going to be the first time you get 20% discount at the AD for a SS Daytona...

Watches seem to be bigger, but I don't think Rolex will mess with the Daytona, It makes them a lot of money!

They might, but I don't think it will be 45mm. Probably 41-42mm.

I'm thinking the jumbo-sized watch fad is starting to fade a bit.

Rolex is very conservative, and as stated above they already make enough money off of daytona sales so what is the incentive? If people want a large watch they have the dssd. Many of the really large watches look almost comical, and many these days are just cheap "costume" jewelry types.
There probably isn't much of a market for what they would charge. Look at the prices for DD2's-I know they are precious metals only but who can afford them?
