Just Tried on a White EXP II 42mm
I was lusting to try one on and when I did I was slightly dissapointed. The markers seem to be to small and the watch just didn't speak to me.Its just not for me,oh well!! my next look will be at the 41mm Datejust either a white dial with stick markers or the TT with Ivory dial and stick markers.

As you please, I personally really like the dial/hands proportionality on the EXII42.
For me the dial is crystal clear and I can discern the time in a millisecond. ![]()

It's the cleanest/sharpest watch in the Rolex line, IMO.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the white one as soon as the AD gets them in.

I agree, it's quite surprising the strong feelings this watch elicits. I liked it quite a bit but I'm still happy with my Exp II white dial and there just wasn't enough difference to motivate me to cough up the $'s.

Well, that's the benefit of trying 'em on....I think, though, that that's the first time I've heard someone say the markers are too small.....

I tried one on yesterday and while the size is smaller than my Panerai 111, it fits weird on my wrist. I think it's because the bracelet is SS vs. the Panerai's croc strap. The Explorer's bracelet comes over the side of my wrist so it looks like it's sticking up oddly. Hard to explain, just didn't work right for me.

Being used to my PAM 250, I was hesitant about the size (why I've never gotten a Rolex earlier), but the size is great. It feels appropriate for my 7.5" wrist and the proportionality works for me.
