Hello,

I'm thinking on getting this Mont-Blanc. It is in my city, and it's not often that I see a Mont-Blanc! I am wondering, the seller sent me this picture of it. It comes with a Mont-Blanc box. Would it be a twist mechanism ball point or a rollerball? I'm not that knowledgable on MB Pens, I think it's a Meisterstruck? I would love to know more from you! Please help me out!

The experts will come a long soon but it is either a rollerball or ball point pen...need more pictures to really see. If it is a rollerball the cap which if this pen is the cap has been posted. But I think it is a ballpoint pen with a twist mechanism. Now...how much does he want for the pen???

Alright, what size do you think it is? The Classique or the Mozart? He doesn't want much for it, he wants $125 for it. He is including a Mont-Blanc refill as well. The box, inside is a little marked up, by ink. Here is the last picture.

Although it is a genuine MB I believe this is a non-main stream MB. It's not a Meisterstruck...I've never seen it in any MB boutique or sales outlet. Over in the UK they tend to crop up in Costco at a price of around £100 new.

That is a Mont Blanc Generation ball point pen (twist mechanism). They retail for about 280 in the US. You are getting a good price I think (depending on condition). Size wise it is about the same as the Meisterstuck.

Thanks so much guys! I think I might of even saw it at Costco! It is very nice, I think I might go for it! So it is the same size as the Classique Meisterstruck?

Definitely the Generation.
It is sold in Costco and as corporate gifts.
Never interested in them so I don't know their values, sorry.
You can try FPH to check their new prices.

P.s. These pens usually dont retain good resell values because there are so many of them.
I might even offer a lowball say $90. See if he bites or not :-)

Yep, it is a platinum trim generation ballpoint. 125 is okay, 100 would be even better. you can buy them new at Costco for 199
