Enjoy, I had my fill of latkes on Sunday, and I'm still not hungry.

Happy/Merry to everyone, regardless of what you celebrate.

Update: Our cafeteria manager at work is making Latkes tomorrow for lunch! We'll see how the come out with a Hispanic touch! I've never really met a latke I didn't like, so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Literally, some food for thought: The other night I went to a swanky version of a latke party. Brisket on sourdough buns, gorgeous salad, and:
3, count 'em 3, kinds of latkes:

zucchini (finely shredded)
curried sweet potato (words cannot describe how great this is)
and the classic potato.

Accompaniments: creme fraiche; yogurt with pomegranates on top; and two flavors of homemade applesauce.

Festival of Light and Not So Light!
