Hello has anyone ever heard of a red date on an older DateJust?

Hi Chris yes I can remember the Red date DJ,looking at my records I had
a vintage 6611 and a 6303 if I remember one was from late 40s the other early 50s both had the red date.Wish I still had them, now they are very collectable, and quite rare now.

Yes they used to use it. I think that is part of the reason why they went back to it in the newer DJ's.

Daren's right.
But today, Rolex have started a new trend.... On the new TOGs, ALL the dates are in RED..... whereas on the new DJs, alternate dates are in red and black.....the odd dates being RED and the even dates being BLACK. JJ
