IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Question/Help?

I am wondering if anyone has any advice on this model in regard to wearing this watch with a suit? I am in the process of probably buying a IWC Port 5001-07 but I have been looking at the IWC Yacht Club over and over and it is a real beauty. I am 6'1 and 215pds and I think I can wear the 45mm but I don't know if I would look like an idiot trying to wear a 45mm watch with my suit at work? I also like the Glashutte Senator XL and the Glashutte Senator Sixties however I think I would regret not getting a watch with you date function. Any advice about that as well would be appreciated. As I mentioned earlier, I am pretty sure that I am leaning towards the IWC Port 5001-07 but I just don't want to make a mistake and regret my decision. Thanks everyone for your help and replies.

You can certainly wear either the 5001 or the 3902 with a suit, but both are pretty thick and you might find them hard to fit under your cuff.

It really depends on your style and taste as well. I personally think that there are other better options that suit a suit.

i am 5'9 and wear a jlc master compressor under a suit to work and it looks great. tried on the iwc and it is a less substantial watch-you will be fine.

It truly depends on the style suits and shirts you wear

I wear my 5001-07 with suit with no issues but I've got a 6.5" wrist so it fits just fine under some of my non-bespoke shirts. IMHO, a chrono is a little too sporty for a suit.

The GO Senator Sixties has a date model also.
