My trip to HQ Milton

Very exciting day for me. After an email exchange with Jacek, I went to San Francisco to pick up my newest acquisition... my first true vintage! This is my second transaction with Jacek but this would be my first time visiting him at his store.

After the hour drive from Silicon Valley, I get into San Francisco proper and the famed Mission District. I don't have much time unfortunately but I got to take a couple photos on the drive over.

It's a rainy day in San Francisco... the rain makes the city just right for me. :)

Let's go Gigantes!

Traditional SF architecture:

Front door and grand entrance to HQ Milton:

I got buzzed in my Scott (owner/partner) and oh my:

I had a bit of time to try on some stunning pieces. First my favorite.

Violet color change dial! Must see in person to see how cool and sharp it is:

I love gold!

Some Daytonas I probably will never own in my lifetime. :(

I got to chat a bit with Scott and Jacek. Both great guys and you can tell they love what they are doing. I highly recommend visiting their shop if you are in town. I love the private store idea, its a great environment to enjoy looking and chatting vintage watches.

Oh, what watch did I get, you ask? It's a rainy day so I will introduce it when I get some decent pictures... hopefully tomorrow Hint... it was made circa 1965... and you can figure out what models I like by my previous posts. And I'm in love with it!

Nice Thanks for sharing - looking forward to the reveal. Haven't seen any of your previous posts...Yet, but I'm guessing 1675.

I see they still have the construction out front. I was there last week myself and Scott showed me many a dream watch I would love to have.

Thanks for the post. Both Scott and Jacek are totally great guys. They have a
trove of great watches to look at and try on, and the prices are more than fair, in my opinion.

Looking forward to your pics of your new watch!
