Icon20 Rolex Catalogue

Saw the post JJ kindly submitted about the new catalogue, so I phoned my AD today and they informed me that the price increase is significant and had come into affect. Also two catalogues were available one featuring sports models, the other featuring DJ's etc. They are being posted to me so I will pass comment when they arrive. One question, how can a shop warrent putting up the price of stock that has been in the window prior to the increase, or indeed in the window for a period of time?

I do have concern though, is the staples binding the catalogue the best form of steel and how can I confirm it's genuine?

LMAO!! That's a new one on me!! You're worried about some silly staples joining the catalogue and the steel they are made of!! Who gives a rat's ass what the staples are made of!!!

Very funny, indeed!!!

But in all seriousness, the catalogue is bound together.....I have mine here and I don't see any staples....good binding though!!

Sheesssh....that was funny!!

How can they raise the prices of existing stock? Because they are Rolex.

Yeah but the existing stock in the window has been bought and paid for by the retailer at the previous price.

You think that is bad, the price increase in February in the states this year happened less than two weeks after my AD got all his 2005 inventory in. So they have us by the short hairs and can do as they please.

Market value dictates what they sell stock for. Just like gas prices. They hike them up even though the new semi hasn't shown up with the more expensive fuel yet.

The fact is, Rolex is selling. They can increase anything they want as long as they are selling. Not that I agree with it, but they can and do get away with it.
