Will there be a steel version of the Yacht-Master II?

Is this in Rolex's future?

Now that the TT has been released I would say it's only a matter of time Leslie.

Possible but not likely although the YM11 is not a huge volume seller perhaps a SS version could increase sales.

I doubt it. If JJ's YM came in steel then the newer one would come in steel

There will not be a SS YMII because of the movement. The movement is too complicated and expensive to be mounted
in a SS watch. The price will be very close to the TT version and then not many will buy it.

As awesome as it would be, i think it would undermine the WG version quite severely.

No disrespect but I disagree. I think the watch in SS at a price point of 13-15 grand would top the deepsea but fill a niche that the WG can never fill.
With a 2 tone made avail now I think its only a matter of time before we see all steel.
But what do I know?

Very nice!! And I would also be surprised to see SS unless it had ceramic bezel perhaps.

I hope not, if a SS version gets released it'd draw me away for
That model, waiting on sky dweller it's 48 , so I'm hoping they won't release a SS version or I'd have to sell it, if I'm lucky I'd get 44 for it
