PAM newbie, questions about my 112

Copped an O-series 112 this week as my first PAM. Some general questions about its use; I was told at the AD to give it about 15 twists on the crown to wind it up. I did that and only got about 30 hours of run time. If I keep winding, will I get closer to the advertised 56 hour power reserve?

Also, the 300m water resistance rating seems quite generous based on the feel of it. I'm the type to wear a watch 24 hours a day including time at the gym, swimming, and diving while on holiday. Is it okay to trust that rating?! I did see a recent 000 with a water breach but am wondering if this is an aberration.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1348849649.781477.jpg

Pretty sure the 111 takes around 100 turns of the crown to reach full wind. I assume the 112 is the same.

You can tell when you feel resistance & it stops turning (don't force it, obviously). Hope this helps!

Just wind fully, don't count
Once you feel resistance you will know it and stop
That will give you the full 50+ hours

Watch will be perfectly fine for any swimming pool
Not all straps will be though so keep it on rubber on those days
