Has anyone purchased from this Ebay dealer? I'm discussing a trade of my 18K GMT MASTER II Maxi Dial Ceramic Bezel for a 18K White Dial With Romans President Day/Date .I believe they have been around for awhile. Bill

Where you been? I know yoiu went on vacation, but you have been very quite lately. Been working for a change? Just testing the water to see what's out there. You ARE A FLIPPER! I'm just a poor old farmer trying to make my way in life! Bill

I have been around! Maybe I have been quite because coming back from a vacation is depressing

Yes I have been working. Somebody has to pay for this nasty Rolex obsession

Usaveontime

Good evening...

I hope it is O.K. to discuss this topic here...

I have purchased four watches from Joel at USAVEONTIME. I have found him to be a really stand-up and reasonable guy. Each watch was exactly as described I had a great experience buying from him in each instance.... Thanks!

I personally would not trade my GMT.

If you choose to do so please ensure that plenty of $$$$$ goes your way.

There is 1.5 extra ounces of gold in the GMT not to mention better a movement.

My wife is in agreement with your way of thinking,I've got second thoughts, but I committed to purchase for a "M" Serial Number 18K Day/Date President. Champagne Dial with Gold Stick Markers . My GMT is a "D" purchased 5/1/07. I'm putting up 2K and my watch, Anyone have any thoughts on this? Bill

Question regarding U$aveontime. Apologies if repeated before.

Am looking to buy a Ladies DayJust model #179174 as a surprise birthday gift for my wife. First Rolex ever in our family. Yahoo! I am still too broke and am wearing a $20 Timex from Target, but will save some more so that the next Rolex will be either an Explorer II or Sea-Dweller (*drool*) or a Submariner.

Anyhows, I visited 2 Chicago Authorized Dealers today, and they wanted $5,100 to $5,300 for the watch (vs the website listing for $4,750 including shipping). A discount of between $400 to $600.

Is this too legit? Another Russian scam?? What the heck am I missing here?? Or am I just paranoid?

Saw the link at the beginning of the thread, but the other thread didn't really say that much. Hence, am hoping folks can help answer a few specific questions I have:

CRITICAL QUESTIONS
1. Is this ebay dealer U$aveontime legit? Would you buy from them?
2. When did the dial include the repeated Rolex embossment? The ones I saw at the ADs in Chicago did NOT have the embossment. This means those watches have been sitting there since 2006? Since 2007? Somebody please put me out of my misery.
3. What is this about 2 year warranty from time of purchase from AD? Does this mean if I buy a 2007 model watch from this company, my warranty has expired before it began?

OTHER QUESTIONS
4. Spoke to Joel from U$aveontime on the phone (super fast response within the hour)
- Appeared very reasonable and forthright
- Told me he buys from AD and make less per watch (but makes up due to volume)
- Finally getting to the question... :)
- Is this true?
- Does his business model work (vs. some scam)? Does Rolex USA not want to shut him down?

Thanks a bunch folks!

Joel Hernanadez--great guy. I have bought from him before. He lives in South Florida. I have known him for 6 years or so.

Thanks for the endorsement.

Any idea regarding the when the repeated Rolex embossment started? Trying to look for a link/historical thread, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
