My weekend just got better.....
I was quite happy pottering along with my Sub LV, minding my own business, quite content, until I stumbled across this place! Lots of nice posters, great archives, photos, information etc etc. Anyway, the site should have some sort of disclaimer...."posters should beware that "Rolex" can be addictive" as i've just taken the plunge again. After i've had a few days next week up in the Highlands with the family, I will be coming back to a brand new GMT 2 116713LN.

Welcome and congrats, know how you feel, I was perfectly content and happy with my Submariner and Speedmaster Pro for over thirty years.
 Then I retired, discovered TRF, and could'nt hold onto my wallet.

Thanks very much folks, i've put a lot of thought into this one (no knee jerk stuff for a change). If I like it half as much as my Sub LV, i'll be a very happy man! My ultimate Rolex would be the Gold GMT with the green dial, but given that I can't afford one of them, this will more than suffice. Can't wait!!
