Price Check 1997 Daytona

Hey guys,

It has been a few years since I've posted but an opportunity to acquire one of my dream watches has come up and I would like to check with you since there are so many WIS in here.

Question: How much is a 1997 SS Daytona worth today if I was to buy from a friend of mine or i.e. private seller? The watch was recently serviced for a total cost of 1000k and it is in "like new" condition. It is white dial with Black chronograph circles.

2nd Question: Would it be worth trading my Milgaus GV for it? Maybe selling on the side to get the Daytona? If so, how much could I get out of my GV?

Thank you!

Edit: Doing some research I think this one is a Zenith Daytona. the serial number is 16520.

If you can get it for 9k that would be great, I don't think
it could be sold for more than 11k.

Well I think my friend is willing to let it go for 7K with box and papers. Sounds to me like a good deal!

Ill get it for 7k and hand it to you for 8.5k!

So in the end it is a 16520 T-Series White face with black outline chrono. Looked online and they seem to be going for a good buck!

Thanks to both for your responses.

as a straight trade, take it all day!!

you're getting the better end even if there's no boxes or papers with the daytona... especially if there's a $1k proper service done on the daytona. millie gv's are coming down and daytona's will only increase.
