Greetings from Florida

Hello all. I have been lurking here for a few months and finally decided to introduce myself. Currently I am Rolex free but have been eyeballing a SS Sub Date, a GMT Pepsi, and most recently a vintage 5513(1968). They all "smile" at me so that makes it more difficult. The wife is a big fan and wants matching plat/ss yachtmasters and that may be an option. Anyway, thanks for providing tons of fun and information.

Welcome Leo
If they all smile at you then you might have to get a couple. You know once you get one you can never stop. The 5513 is now a classic, as you know they don't make anymore of those.
I love the YM's but I'm a black dial kind of guy. Matching his/hers would be great.
You know, I read someone saying lately that a vintage sports Rolex does exude a level of class when worn by a lady, so you might want to consider his/hers vintage 5513's (just a thought)

I would love the wife sporting a SUB(great look for a woman, imho) but she likes the bling of the yachty.

Bo, as far as the car goes look close that belongs to Thomas Magnum but you are right it is my dream car.

Well Leo, you certainly have or have not a dilemma on your hands. Do you be the man and get what you want or be the husband and Rolex lover and get the matching set of YM's with the wife knowing you really wanted a specific model but, didn't say anything and without missing a step says "wouldn't it be nice if we went down to the Rolex dealer and look at and possibly pick out/up a matching set for our anniversary." The wife might come back with "what the hell you up to now Leo? ROFLMAO Seriously tho, go with the matching set, she will see how the YM is out of place and you need a everyday watch such as the ss sub date or even slightly more style and get the GMT IIc..
