Newbie.....

Hi all,

Newbie on here. Trying to find out a bit more about my dads old Rolex Oysterdate Precision. He gave it to me for my 21st, 23 years ago. Just found it again & wound it up, working fine.

Sadly my dad passed away just under 12 months ago so keen to find out some more, all I know is its stainless steel with a stainless steel strap & he got it around 1949 (ish)

I'll try to attach some pics, any information would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Andy B

Wonderful watch, great heirloom and story. You'd do yourself a favor to get it serviced and brought back to tip top shape. Wear it in good health and of course, my condolences.

Many thanks for your kind comments. I am hoping to have the watch serviced but have always been a bit cautious wearing it.

It has such sentimental value that I would hate to damage it or lose it
