AP ROO Navy
I am thinking about adding AP Navy, does anyone has a pictures, wrist shots?
I really like the blue strap/white dial/blue subdials combo, nice watch to wear with jeans. What is overall view on AP Navy, seems to me its not that popular from theme editions. I asked on TRF which one to pick between AP Navy and Rolex WG Sub blue dial and of course I got everyone voting for Rolex, wanted to ask the same question here. Thank you for your input |

I have one more question:
Which one do you like better, AP Diver or AP Navy? |

I'd get the Diver over the Navy, Bogdan.

I like the navy as well but I can see why folks gravitate to the diver. You have many chrono so I think it does makes sense to choose the diver as over it has a different look even though it has similar colors as your AP ROOC44mm. Just get the diver and wear navy slacks and you will still feel over the moon. LOL

I love many things about the Navy but the blue pushers and crown just kill it for me. If you think the Diver is too similar to the 44mm ROO and you're looking for something different with a blue face, might I suggest a PP 5980?

I love the Diver. If I add an AP to my 15300 - it would be a Diver or Scuba.
If the pushers on the Navy were SS or black I'd consider one. |

No offense to fans of the Navy - different strokes and all but I think the blue pushers and crown look a bit unsubstantial.
I love the strap - it looks amazing but like Kilyung - the pushers/crown are just a bit offputting to me. Part of my bias is that I really like the Diver and I also think the Panda looks amazing as well. IMO the Panda looks more harmonious with flow of the dials and pushers. |

Diver over Navy any day. I've never liked the Navy. Go for the Diver.

IMO, the blue pushers look plastic. Rubber should be black.

Mike, remember the pushers on the ROOs (with the exception of the Rubberclad) are not made of Rubber but of a composite named Therban that is supposed to be fireproof and extremely resistant. The pushers on my ROO are somewhat blueish but that doesn't bother me. I think what bothers me about the Navy is the dial in conjunction with the different type of blue on the pushers.

Thank you all for your response,
I personally like Diver over Navy but I am looking to add something with navy dial or navy strap. I have Rolex DSSD and SS ROO 44mm so Diver wouldn't get much wrist time. Mike, PP 5980 is very nice but I am not ready for PP yet. Its been a while since I tried Navy at AD, will travel to NY this month and will try to find one and make my final decision. |

The main thing that i don't like with the blu pushers are that it wont look good with any other strap then blue.

I take some notoriously bad pics, but still. I couldn't really decide and I love me some blue:

both are great watches. I have the White themes edition with bracelet
Its easier to wear this watch with a suit or dressed down. Navy looks great, but more of a casual look You cant go wrong with either. Its a matter of preference and what you usually wear |
