What watch to buy next
Hi,
Question for all. What watch are you going to buy next? I have a black dial Explorer 2 d 2005. I also have a Cellini ( http://www.rolex.com/en#/rolex-watch...e-gold-m5330-9) dress watch. I want to buy a white dial watch. I was thinking another explorer 2 in white as I love my current explorer. Does anyone have other suggestions as I have a tool watch and a dress. Thanks, Eric |

I would say without a doubt, if it must be white dial, Daytona. If that is a bit too steep, then go with the DJII White stick dial....both are unreal...

Now that I'm cured from my Hulk-lust, it's going to be an Ex ll early next year, white dial. Or a platty Yachtmaster, but that's just so much more expensive for what it is...

Well my next watch I'm aiming for is a GV Milgauss for my 40th next year...... Eric, how about the 42mm polar explorer 2 to compliment your 40mm black face? After the Milgauss I'd like to aim for the reverse - 42mm black face to compliment my 40mm polar.....

rolex dssd, omega planet ocean 8500 in house , breitling super avenger.
not in that particular order. i want all 3. have wanted the SA for years because of my monster wrists.. just comes down to $$ at this point. since i can get the breitling AND omega for the same price as the deep sea.... lol. decisions, decisions... oh, and i need to get the $$ together also, lol. so thats affecting my decision. just a little. :) |

There MUST be something for you in the recent "Best White Dial" thread. LOTS of lovely white dial eye-candy! My current favorite of the watches I don't (yet) own is the new 42mm EXP II Polar. If I were you (be thankful you're not me!) I would add the new EXP II Polar, and gauge how I really felt about keeping the Noir (black classic EXP II). Again, if it were me, I'd flip the Noir for something else, like a nice DJ white gold fluted bezel tapestry dial, or Thunderbird/Turn-O-Graph.

If money's no real object then go for something a little different... like a Daytona. Or a SkyDweller.

If you have a tool watch and a dress watch you are happy with, you don't have to feel compelled to buy another watch unless you really want something specific.
