FakeWatchBuster on Instagram
I can highly reccomend to follow the #fakewatchbuster on Instagram.
Besides becoming very popular with many followers in just a few days, he has also been interviewed by Hodinkee and is the Headline of today on their website. Read the interview here. |

Hasn't said anything about my Sub. If he does he can get in touch with my AD.
He usually points out pretty obvious fakes. I hope he doesn't make a mistake because the nature of his account means the person in questions reputation will be ruined straight away. I respect what he's doing I just hope he's certain and doesn't start flying too close to the sun and throwing accusations around. There was that watch documentary where the guy took his watch to Miami and the owner of an AD (or a reputable jeweler of some sort) was swearing on his "20 years of reputation and experience" that a watch was fake and it turned out to be real. Some old guy who had been into watches for "50 years" swore that my bosses Nautilus was fake which was funny because I picked it up from the AD with him. He was a "highly respected member of a watch forum". |
