Thanks to this forum ....

I joined this forum having owned my 116334 DateJust II very happily wearing it every day for about 2yrs only casually looking in the Rolex store window every few months... now look what has happened:

November:
- Rolex is good, just look at all these threads... I should buy another! So an extra DateJust II - this time the two-tone 116333

December:
- I like two-tone, but hey everyone has a sports watch on here! So I buy a GMT-IIC 116713
- The DJ2 thread convinces me blue baton is the only way for a 116334 so I send mine off for a dial change

January:
- Two-tone is nice... but what about full YG like those guys in the other thread? Just ordered a GMT-IIC 18k 116718!!!

And I couldn't be more excited! I think the GMT-IIC 18k is the most amazing looking watch, it is super flashy so I will be keeping the DJ2 steel/white gold to use at work. The two-tone DJ2 and two-tone GMT I have sold/am selling to fund the 18k GMT and thanks to buying carefully, have about broken even on flipping overall which makes the experience even sweeter!

Progress pics attached! (The GMT YG photo is not mine, but its the photo that made me fall in love with the watch... so hopefully the guy does not mind me using it :))

Hope you enjoy my little adventure so far, it is all thanks to you guys :smoking:

Tooooooooooooooooootally agree!!!!!

DJ2, then I wanted a sporty...Ex2...but which one??? Bought both 16570 and 216570. Have those covered. Decided now I will hold off for the RG gold Day Date...oh, but it won't end there. Also added the AP Roo and Patek Nautilus on the list (blue face for both).

And then I'll be done...maybe.

This is fantastic!! Yes, I tried on an AP RO Day-Date in rose gold which I loved, was between that and the YG GMT for this big January purchase, the Rolex won this time - but I will be saving for the RO you can be sure. And I am trying to keep away from Patek for now... that is going to be a very dangerous introduction no doubt!!!!!

You've chosen some fantastic watches to put on your wrist.

The YG GMT IIc is one of my favourite YG pieces. Congrats!

Now that you've filled us in on November, December and January, what's in store for February?
