Sky Dweller Rose Vs Day-Date II
Which would you choose and why? I am thinking of buying a yellow gold black waves dial DD 2 or Rose Gold Sky Dweller. Poll which do you like better.

For me it would be the DD II, but the annual calander on the Skydweller is a very useful complication.

I like bracelets... well mostly.
I'd get the YG DD2 or a WG SkD. |

DDII.
Having a GMT function is not crucial for me and I'd find having the day and date displayed more useful than having the date and month. That and the fact that I think the DDII just simply looks better. The Sky Dweller is though, technically innovative. |

I think you get a lot more watch for your money with the Sky-Dweller, it's breaking new ground for Rolex. A special piece, and definitely prettiest in RG

James,
Saw your PM and I do not mind answering here publically since I am working on a timepiece related inverview... Yes, I will keep both. I tend to buy timepieces I will keep. As you and everyone that post here on TRF knows we can tell time by glancing at our cells phones or computer screens, however, that's not really impressive... At least to me. The 326135 and 218935 are not the most complicated pieces I own but I dearly adore them for what they signify to me... Patience, care free personality, style and much more. I have gotten s#it from people that read my post here on TRF asking why do I care what people say about the aesthetics of the SkyD and I always respond I don't care but for folks to miss the importance of this Rolex complication is just a shame, anyway before I get off tangents I would advise on both as they equally have something special to offer. If money is no object I vote for the SkyDweller. Peace! SF

A tough choice indeed, whilst I think the rose gold Sky-Dweller is a beautiful watch I prefer the white gold version. In fact, had it been the choice instead this is what I would have chosen.
Given the current choice I decided to vote for the Day-Date II but it wins only by a tad. Quote:

P.S.: A 5110 would be a unique and incredible addition to your collection, I am a big fan of this model and the platinum one is very nice! Good luck on your quest my friend.
