Rubber On My Sub 114060

Hi all,

I've had my sub for around 6 weeks or so and have wore it every day. I absolutely love it and whilst I accept it will pick up the odd scratch as the years go by I want to try and keep it pristine for as long as possible. It seems to be the strap which gets the most knocks so I decided to go for a rubber replacement and will keep the metal bracelet for best. I had considered the Rubber B but you can't use the glidelock clasp so would have had to go for the Tang with buckle. I don't see the point in paying that much for the strap when the Hirsch Hevea that I ended up buying is so much cheaper. The only good thing about the Rubber B is that it sits flush around the lugs but I don't think it's worth the premium just for that. The Hirsch was £45 and I'm very pleased with it!

Nice. Though I love the super adjustable bracelet.

Nice, like you I like the flush look but don't think the rubberB is priced right. I think I'll pick up the Everest though

I thought the same with my polished GMT strap that it'd gather loads of scratches but then I thought I'd rather spend £300 on a new strap due to scratches than have my lugs/ watch scratched from the spring bar swapping the straps all the time.

Each to their own. Rubber does give a nice different look though. Nice one.
