Root Beer Sub???
Just got back from the local cigar shop, and saw the owner was wearing what I would call a "Root beer Submariner". It was all SS and (newer looking, but def not ceramic), copper/light brown dial and bezel. I commented "nice watch, never seen one of them before." He replied, "thanks, it was a present for my 60th birthday." I said, "oh, nice gift!" And left it at that...
I've never seen this dial/bezel, is it legit? |

No, didn't want to go too far. When he said it was a gift for his 60th, I left it at that.
BTW, it was def not a GMT. |

Has to be a GMT, right? |

Can you do a Google image search of "root beer rolex" and post a photo of what it looked like?

I have never heard of such combination, but I am not the most knowledgeable.
Best scenario I can imagine is a genuine Sub with an aftermarket bezel... |
