GMT Bezel Click Spring problem
I have broken the bezel click spring on my GMT Master 16710
Can I refit the bezel without the spring, any complications? Can I change to a 'press down and turn' friction plate system as on my Sub 5513? Where is best place to get replacement, what is cost? |

Well the spring in nothing more than a bent bit of wire and most ADs could order you one or if near any RSC expect they could fit while you wait.

Mine broke too on my GMTII sub. Rolex Service Centre replaced it for free.
Good luck. |

I recently ordered a generic replacement from Esslinger and when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was the new style (longer). Big improvement, IMHO.

I too purchased an aftermarket version and longer too. Much better than the old short ones.

Broke mine once. My watchmaker ordered another [can't remember the cost but it was too damn much for just a tiny bent wire] from Rolex and in the meantime just installed the bezel without it. Worked fine just like Tudor no-click bezels.
