Hey guys, i am thinking of getting a Panerai. A few people i know have the 1950, and it is the only other watch/brand that I seem to like. I have been wearing the same Rolex GMT II for the last 16 years, and still love it, but may want to get one of the PAMs. There are quite a few models available, but the one I really seem to like is the 438, however, it is out of my $ comfort range. Seeing how you guys are so knowledgable about this brand, is there any other model that is black, but may be a bit less expensive? I would like to be in the $7-8K range, or less if possible. I am also not too comfortable with buying used, as I hear there are a lot of great knock offs.

P.S. I am not going to trade the GMT, so just wanted to put that out there if the suggestion was to trade.
