Datejust bezel remover advice.

Has anyone used one of the cheap bezel removers found on Ebay like this :-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WATCH-BEZE...item48471052fd

I was going to replace the plastic crystal in my 16013 DJ. and wondered if they worked ok?

Actually it is not a cheap bezel remover they work very well put watch on upside down slowly screw in till the 4 points hit the bezel close to case and turn till it comes off. Rikki

Can anyone recommend the type of tool, and size of discs to re-fit a fluted 18ct gold bezel on a 16013 Datejust.

A BB crystal press works fine and you can buy a set of dies from Bergeon aluminum with nylon inserts so as not to marr the finish on the bezel, tool and dies about 500 dollars. Rikki

You don't need a special tool to remove the bezel from a 16013.

Use a single-edged razor to get it started, then any thin knife blade will work.
