I notice the Forum RSS feeds are not working. Is it turned off?

When the forums go private RSS is automatically turned off.

This situation will from time to time reside in the sole discretion of the forum administration.

Thanks for the update.

Rather than off, would it be possible to switch them to demand a username/password when the site goes stealth? Does the forum software even allow that?

It's possible that since we've all been cut adrift from Google Reader, there may now be a bunch of readers that can't deal with secured RSS feeds, although appending the username/password to the end of the RSS URL may work.
