AP Panda or Vacheron Constantin Overseas??

I'm considering my next piece - always wanted an AP Panda while at the same time, the VC OS has a very nice presence. My reservation is the movement of the VC.

What do you all think? Which would you choose?

Any insight as to which is constructed better, overall holorgy value?

I'm not an OS fan... The bezel as always looked odd to me.

Is the Panda there Offshore? I'd love to get one of the 44mm Offshores but I am holding out for an integrated chrono. Doesn't the other AP chrono movement share with the VC overseas?

Pretty sure the overseas chrono and the AP ROC use a version of the F Piguet 1185.

The ROO panda uses the mostly in house 3126 with a DD modular chrono.

I think they do but I am not 100% sure. It's a Federick Piguet (spelling?). For AP, it's a modified movement. I will go for the Panda as well, unless you already own one of the ROOs like Diver, Safari, Navi then the VC will add more variety. I have seen the VC in person and it is a very well made watch.

These watches wear very differently for both being 42mm. The AP is much larger and more sporty. I prefer the AP but I suggest trying both on to make your decision.

I like that Vacheron but prefers the looks of the AP, the Panda would be my choice!

Panda 100%. The VC is nice but just even close to a Panda.

Panda is a great watch, the most popular of the themes and definitely a great investment, but the Overseas is sweet and different, If I had to choose for myself I'd go with the VC.

How about this one? I like the leather band better than bracelet. Same for the Panda. If I was to pick, I would go for Panda.

Exactly, bracelet is fantastic on VCO but I don't like the eggy shaped case and the Panda dial is much nicer.

Easy AP on this one.
I know it's an AP forum. I have a good appreciation of VC but the OS does nothing for me.

saw the vc in flesh a few days ago though with a white face and it is just beautiful. perfect proportions and the bracelet is the nicest i have seen so far.
but again, i am not a big fan of ap offshore models.

I recently purchased a new 116610LV and feel that it might not be for me...

Thinking of a sporty and versatile watch.

I think the VC is beautiful. I tried one on in Vegas a few weeks ago, and its very nice. Elegant, and understated. I think the AP is a better piece, but they are very different watches.
